The hall was commissioned in 1791 for the Trades House of Glasgow and its fourteen Incorporated Crafts, and hosted its first meeting in 1794. Robert Adam designed it; after his death his brothers James and William Adam oversaw its completion. Robert Adam's Trades Hall is the master's only major surviving work in Glasgow, and the Trades House with its fourteen crafts meets within it still. Hammermen and weavers, tailors and maltmen are among the crafts represented by the Trades House.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
